Our Foundation
Twiga Health Care Foundation is established in Hargeisa, Somaliland, with a commitment to improving healthcare access and strengthening the health system. The Foundation emerged from a recognition of the challenges faced by communities seeking quality healthcare, including limited access to specialized services, shortages of skilled healthcare professionals, infrastructure constraints, and other barriers to quality care.

Dr. Indhadek Mohamed Ali
Founder & Obstetrician Gynecologist
Twiga Health Care Foundation was founded by Dr. Indhadek Mohamed Ali, an Obstetrician and Gynecologist and obstetric fistula surgeon from Somaliland.
Inspired by the challenges faced by women and children without access to specialized care, she established Twiga to improve healthcare access, restore dignity, and change lives through healthcare.
